Looks pretty interesting. I think we will see more of these types of start ups...they do solve an interesting problem, web design is such a disjointed industry.

I always take a peek at these kinds of sites thinking 'OH NO! Then end has come for us!'.
This will appeal to the "squeeze every penny til it bleeds" company that just has to have something up on the web.

Hey, love the site...so I am actually in the process of building my own site on SiteKreator for my winery in SiteKreator. I tried the free version, but I'm upgrading to business. I disagree with the template comment and I actually think this should be closer to 4 or even 5 stars.
Here's why...
- FrontPage is a complex web of a mess that I gave up on
- The tools that came with my service host were a joke
- Designers have quoted me anywhere from $1k to $4k, plus a monthly service fee
- SiteKreator is $95 a year, including hosting
- It's as simple or as extravagent as I want to be
So, I started messing around, and trust me, this is still a work in progress (I even have high res place holders). But the templates are customizable...make them what you want. I even dropped in some flash on the home page. I will have an integrated blog, discussion forum, mailing list, and an online store. Where else can you get that with one click ease - including hosting? Come on...really.
As a small winery owner, I've tried everything. This thing is really awesome and I will sing it's praises, because I am actually using it. I even started working with someone from their company, just because this is the first REAL solution that allows me to build a killerest site. I wanted advice and they're giving it tom me. Although I' not there yet. I sent them a few bottles of wine as a bribe, and well, it worked.
Anyway, give it a shot...there is nothing else out there that even comes close to the final product for the money. As entreprenuers, every penny counts.

Great input Drew, thanks for the feedback on your experience.

I disagree with Drew about this being the only solution of its kind out there. I tried a product I saw reviewed here a few weeks ago ( http://www.workhappy.net/2006/05/what_is_itedits.html ) called Editsite.net, and have been very happy with the results there. I have not used SiteKreator, so I cannot compare them, but when it comes to CMS solutions there are always alternatives.
In my case, EditSite.net is becoming the solution that sits pefectly between the enterprise level CMS solutions that my company offers, and static HTML (which no one should use any more!). With solutions like these, I can do a little CSS magic, and my wife with no web experience can manage the site, which includes easily building custom forms, sitewide search and dynamic navigation.
I am glad to see that there is growth in this area (super simple CMSs) because I think they fill a great niche.

Just wanted to share my opinion on SiteKreator (as, you know, I am using it for quite a while already)
You are probably right, Mark: diversity is great. I struggled with all that variety until I found out the product that will best work for me :) So, now that I have found SiteKreator I am not giving it up that easy - I am pretty much satisfied with the product, with their services and with the results I have achieved so far ... I started out as a total newbie and was able to build a realy professionally looking website with quite a few intearctive features. It suits my needs perfectly - it allows me to showcase my artwork, sell my pictures (!) and share feedback on-line ...

I stumbled in to Site Kreator very much by accident and am really impressed now! What a find! The user-interface could not be easier. Everything, and I mean everything, is a click of the mouse...and then another click to publish. Finally the overall look is so professional.

I don't know much about the "squeeze every penny til it bleeds" companies, Ken, but sitekreator was perfect for my personal site.
I'm sure I can pay some web-designer company a lot of money and they'll create a better looking site, or even more money if you want to have them update it for you... I'm afraid to even think about how much it would cost me to order a site where I can add a new section in just few minutes, and still have no clue what Java is.

Have any of you tried Squarespace (http://www.squarespace.com/)? It's another product in this class that I haven't seen reviewed as much, but seems really promising.

Yah SiteKreator has been great! In fact, it's so good I decided to sign up for Reseller rights for SiteKreator...
Now I offer my customers the same benefits SiteKreator offer me. Easy of publishing... I should have gotten this tools to manage all my client's websites.
