Re: Ten Rules For Web Startups
My favorite point was #1 -- "to be narrow." I think too often people, and me included start off with a good idea, but end up losing focus because five other "good ideas" eventually pop into their head.
I almost feel like I am going against the grain when I only focus on one specific area, instead of having a much broader approach.
I use a simple phrase to help keep me on track. When ever I try to turn my entrepreneur television show into something broader, I constantly repeat to myself -- K-I-S-S -- and that seems to help me stay focused.
